The New York State Council on the Arts makes over 2500 grants each year to arts organizations in every arts discipline throughout the state. NYSCA's goal is to bring high-quality artistic programs to the citizens of the state through supporting the activities of nonprofit arts and cultural organizations. NYSCA partners with The Arts Center of the Capital Region to administer grants in the capital region.

TCC receives a grant of $5,000 from The Arts Center of the Capital Region for the An American Song: Roots of American Music and 2015 series of community concerts! TCC receives its second New York State Council on the Arts grant.

The chorus successfully competed for a grant in the amount of $1280 for 2013 from the Community Arts Grant program. This program is administered by The Arts Center of the Capital Region, funded through the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency. The funds will go toward new music, just compensation for the accompanist, and a rehearsal/performance aide. TCC received $2500 from the same organization in 2012.
