Mr. Castro launched this exciting new chorus in 2010 because there are few things more beautiful than children's voices singing harmoniously.  Furthermore, there is an overwhelming interest for this ensemble in our community!  He currently serves as the Minister of Music at First United Presbyterian Church.  He most recently graduated from Boston University with the Master of Sacred Music in Organ Performance. In addition to conducting Troy Children's Chorus, he is the director of Troy Music Day Camp, and has worked with children in a variety of settings for thirteen years.

Maury is ecstatically married to his wife, Kerén, an elementary school language arts teacher. They have three lovely daughters, Delia, Chiara, and Gabrielle.
